Easy to install and use Apache distribution.

Apache was the name that the Native American tribes that lived in Arizona received. These tribes stood their ground, favored peace but were skilled in warfare and they were the last tribe to sign a peace treaty with the government of the USA. And that is why a web server was named after them, this web server implements HTPP protocol.

  XAMPP is an Apache distribution, designed specifically to promote this server and make it easier to use. To do so, they have developed a very easy to use application: all that has to be done is extract the files and they come ready to be used, without any need to edit nor configure any file.
